Sorry for the latency. I have added the captures from both January 20th and 21st to the Gallery now. There really isn’t much to write home about as Michelle/Tina didn’t really do much. I know I say this often; but I can’t wait until she has a meaningful story again.

I have added a high-quality (exclusive) photo of Michelle Keegan which is set to be auctioned off in February for the 50th Anniversary Coronation Street charity. Details are found below:

Corrie photographer Rob Evans captures the people behind the characters in this beautiful collection of photographs.

Throughout Corrie’s 50th Anniversary year, he took a series of stunning cast portraits on the Street.

The photographs will form an exhibition at Manchester-based gallery, Generation Pop on Friday 28 January. The pictures will be on show to the public until Wednesday 16 February 2011.

On Thursday 17 February the gallery will hold a VIP star-studded charity auction of the signed images with all proceeds going to the Coronation Street 50th anniversary appeal. During the exhibition the public will be able to make silent bids for any of the signed photographs whilst at the gallery.

Apologies for the lateness. I have added screen-captures from the 14th January episode of Coronation Street which saw Tina (or Michelle Keegan), working along with Graeme, Steve and Becky helping Claire to escape. Tina (Michelle Keegan) took part in various chit-chatting throughout the episodes and posed as who the police thought was Claire at the end, allowing Claire to escape freely.

I have added screen-captures from the 13th January, 2011 episode of Coronation Street which, once again, saw Tina (Michelle Keegan) working behind the bar in the Rover’s. Luckily, she did have quite a few more lines than usual and interacted with Claire, Gail, David and Graeme as they worked to figure out Claire’s situation. I have added screen-captures from the 10th January, 2011 episode of Coronation Street which saw Michelle working behind the bar (as Tina) and serving as a baby-sitter for Max whilst Steve and Becky rushed off to the rescue of Claire after she confessed to hitting Tracey. Michelle Keegan should have a storyline soon enough–hopefully!

You may be asking yourself, and rightfully so, what does this have to do with Michelle Keegan or ‘Tina McIntyre’? Apparently, Michelle Keegan will play a huge part in the addition of the first major Chinese character who we only know as ‘Xin’ on the street. Michelle Keegan along with Craig Gazey (Graeme) will play a major part in getting Xin over to the audience; after-all, who better than our girl? Exactly. The following comes courtesy of Unreality TV:

‘Coronation Street’ is set to introduce a Chinese character next month.

The ITV1 soap – whose only previous Chinese cast member was chip shop owner Mr. Wong in 2005 – has reportedly made the new addition of waitress Xin in order to increase its appeal to multi-cultural audiences.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Manchester has a big Chinatown and it’s a crime that Corrie bosses have ignored it for so long. They hope Xin becomes a big character and that a whole family can be introduced.”

I have added screen-captures from Coronation Street: 31st December, 2010 which saw Michelle (as Tina) doing her regular thing behind the bar and celebrating the New Year with a kiss from Graeme. All I can say is I can’t wait until she has a big story once again.
